About Pack 457:
- Dix Hills Cub Scout Pack 457 includes children from K-5 and is open to both boys and girls
- Dix Hills Cub Scout Pack 457 is the only Cub Scout Pack serving the Half Hollow Hills community
- Cub Scout Pack 457 is open to all families from Dix Hills, Melville, South Huntington, Commack, East Northport, Elwood and more
- Pack Meetings are generally on the fourth Friday of the month
- Dens are grouped by grade and meet once a month (separate from Pack meetings/outings)
- Pack outings include hiking, biking, laser tag, bowling, camping, ice skating and other activities
- We also do community, patriotic and charitable work throughout the year
- Pack 457 fundraises throughout the year to help offset costs, and to give back to the community
- Parents are invited to participate and volunteer
- Cub Scout Pack 457 is comprised of kind, compassionate and sensitive scouts and adults
- Anyone is welcome to join, participate and volunteer with Cub Scout Pack 457
- Our leaders are volunteer parents of scouts
- All leaders are trained in Youth Protection, Den Leadership, and much more
- We are a spirited group that has lots of fun together!

Suffolk County Council BSA
The Matinecock District is one of four districts covering Suffolk County (Matinecock, Sagtikos, Benjamin Tallmadge, Trailblazer). Suffolk County Council BSA provides a comprehensive values-based program that develops character, teachers citizenship, and encourages personal fitness to more than 7,500 youth each year. The Suffolk County Council was charter on April 6, 1919 to instill values and expand the Scouting movement in Suffolk County.
The Council Service Center is located at 1 Independence Hill, Suite 202, Farmingville, NY, 11738 inside the Town of Brookhaven Building, 2nd Floor. The Council Service Center is open weekdays, Monday - Friday from 10 am to 5 pm
