Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 164 in Stockbridge, Ga!

Welcome! Pack 164 is located in Stockbridge, Ga and is Charted by Bethel United Methodist Church of Stockbridge, Ga. We are a very active pack and are always looking to add new members and parents! Our first graders are the Tiger Scouts. Wolves start at the second grade level. Bears are at the third grade level and Webelo's are fourth and fifth graders. If your boy is older he will be going into Boy scouts. There is a troop that meets here on Monday nights.

Our team of leaders, parents and scouts work together towards common goals and purposes. The purposes of Cub Scouting are:

To Develop Character and Spiritual Growth, to Promote Good Citizens, to foster and encourage good sportsmanship, fitness and family understanding, to have respect for others and support personal achievements, to offer service to others, to gain preparation skills and to encourage fun and adventure!

Your child will get out of Cub Scouts what You and Your Son put into Scouting.

Once you join the pack you receive login information to our pack's complete website which includes den pages and the pack calendar.

Why Scouts?

The Boy Scouts of America provides youth with programs and activities that allow them to

Try new things.

Provide service to others.

Build self-confidence.

Reinforce ethical standards.

While various activities and youth groups teach basic skills and promote teamwork, Scouting goes beyond that and encourages youth to achieve a deeper appreciation for service to others in their community.

Scouting provides youth with a sense that they are important as individuals. It is communicated to them that those in the Scouting family care about what happens to them, regardless of whether a game is won or lost.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, Scouting promotes activities that lead to personal responsibility and high self-esteem. As a result, when hard decisions have to be made, peer pressure can be resisted and the right choices can be made.
