This was the group that went out on our last 20+ mile hike -- we started at the summit of Bear Mountain and ended up in Fahnestock State Park!  This year's 20-miler will be a traverse of the Ives Trail in nearby Redding, Danbury, and Bethel.

If you are interested in joining the Troop, please take the time to print out and fill in the attachments and return them at the next regular Scout Meeting.  All Scouts are required to attend at least one meeting before joining and we encourage Scouts to attend several meetings and consider participating in a weekend activity before committing to make sure Troop #1 is a good fit.

The medical form can be returned at a later time, but is needed for participation in the Troop's regular activities.

Dues for the calendar year are $120, payable by check made out to "Lewisboro Troop #1".  The first year dues will also pay for a Class B Tshirt and a Neckerchief.  Dues cover most activity fees (cost of materials, night hike fee, camp out registration, park entrance fees, etc) unless otherwise noted.  Scouts are responsible for acquiring their own uniform and official BSA Handbook.
