Cub Scout Pack 34 is going to have fun, and we want YOU to join us!
If you're a boy, going in
kindergarten thru
5th grade next Fall, you can join Cub Scouts now! We've got some fun activities planned for our next year, including a parade, and building and racing model cars. In previous years we've gone to the zoo, camped in a cave, gone fishing, and done lots of other fun and exciting things. Who knows what we'll do next year?
Cub Scouting is a great way to have fun, and learn cool new stuff that they don't teach in school. Scouts learn how to build things and fix things. They learn about nature and family. They do crafts and play games. They go on hikes and field trips. They make friends and learn leadership. Along the way they earn awards and patches to show what they've accomplished.
For more information, please contact our
Cub Master.
Our Committee Meetings are typically held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. They are held at the Wood Dale Recreation Complex, 111 E. Foster Ave., Wood Dale, IL 60191.
We enjoyed our time marching in the Wood Dale Memorial Day Parade. The scouts had fun handing out candy and fliers to invite as many of their friends to the upcoming Spring Roundup! We hope to see as many of you as possible there!
The Pack returned from a successful trip to the
Wisconsin Maritime Museum, where they were able to sleep in the USS Cobia! Fun was had by all, some declaring it "Best two days of their lives!" Each scout was able to rotate through the stations of the Forward Torpedo room, where they pretended to fire off torpedoes. The scouts were sad that the crew of the USS Cobia wouldn't allow them to fire upon the Green Bay Packers.
